About David Hall
David Hall is a mortgage industry veteran known for fostering an energizing, motivating, and innovative workplace. David has been instrumental in the development of several of the nation’s largest mortgage companies. Most recently David was an integral part of the exponential growth at United Shore, helping the company become the number one wholesale lender in the nation.
Prior to United Shore, David spent eight years as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Rock Financial, the Michigan division of Quicken Loans. He was largely responsible for establishing Rock Financial as one of Michigan’s most recognizable and successful companies.
From 2000 to 2007 David hosted a nationally syndicated radio program, “The Real Estate Insiders,” which became one of the nation’s most successful real estate-focused radio programs reaching listeners in 35 cities. He often appeared as a market commentator on CNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, and NBC, and has been cited many times in mortgage industry publications.
David had the honor of being named as a Crain’s Detroit Business “40 under 40,” and has been awarded “Speaker of the Year” by Michigan Meetings and Events Magazine.
With a commitment to community service and advocacy, David has been recognized as a Boy Scouts of America “Businessman of the Year” nominee. In addition, he spearheaded an NBA “Read to Achieve” program for children, and partnered with the Detroit Pistons to deliver supplies to the victims of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
As a Communications graduate of the University of Michigan, Hall was a member of the varsity golf team. In 1995, he was named Michigan’s Amateur Golfer of the Year and was one of the top 50 amateurs in the country. He maintains a scratch handicap today.
